Steve Harvey Ending Daytime Talk Show, Launching New Show
The Steve Harvey show is throwing up the deuces, sort of. After five seasons, the show will come to an end. However, a new talk show hosted by the comedian will launch in September. He will produce the new show with IMG and it will be distributed by NBCUniversal Domestic Television, which also distributed Steve Harvey. According to a report, the NBC stations, which currently carry Steve Harvey, also will be the core station group for the new show next fall.
NBCU is currently shopping it to other stations with the expectations that the new show will be taken on by the majority of stations that carry Steve Harvey. Currently, the show is based in Chicago. He is teaming with a new producing partner, IMG, with the new show being based in LA. The new show, is rumored to be more celebrity driven.
