Richina Arnold, Sanya Richards-Ross Receive McDonald’s 365Black Awards
The 14th annual McDonald’s 365Black Awards hosted an elegant luncheon-style event to honor this year’s group of celebrities and influential women who make positive contributions to the community.
Hosted by actress Essence Atkins, the awards luncheon was held Sunday, July 2, 2017 during the 23rd annual ESSENCE Festival.
The awards luncheon was themed “Power of Inspiration” and celebrated the following honorees: Olympic gold-medalist and author Sanya Richards-Ross; actress and comedian Tichina Arnold, business executive and author Valeisha Butterfield-Jones; and McDonald’s owner/operator Marty Gillis. Additionally ,Chasity Hale was recognized alongside the lineup with the McDonald’s 365Black Community Choice Youth Award for her work as a writer, poet and community leader.
The Awards also included a performance by R&B songstress Kelly Price. Check out the photos!
