Jamal’s wife, Michelle Mashburn, filed for divorce on May 1st, 2017 in Florida court. The two were married for 17 years and share a minor son, Jamal Mashburn Jr, born in 2001. They were married in Las Vegas back in 2000 and separated in May 2017. Michelle filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences.

According to court docs, the two reached a confidential settlement agreement on November 8th. The deal settles all issues between the parties over property, assets and custody/support.
