Meagan Good To Direct Indie Sisterhood Drama ‘If Not Now, When’
Meagan Good is adding the title of director to her resume. The actress will make her directorial debut with the independent film “If Not Now, When.” Good and Tamara Bass will both direct and star in the film. Once Upon a Time’s Mekia Cox and Pitch actress Meagan Holder have also joined the cast. The film is described as,
A story of sisterhood and camaraderie, centers around four friends — Good, Cox, Holder, and Bass — who met while in high school and are bonded by an event that happens. Fifteen years later, they are suddenly forced to all come back together when one of them faces a crisis.
The film was written by Bass and being produced by Good for their Krazy Actress Production company. Datari Turner and Sway Calloway are also producing.
Good starred in the independent film “A Boy. A Girl. A Dream: Love on Election Night” with Omari Hardwick, released earlier this year. Her more recent credits include the horror films “Venom” (2005), “One Missed Call” (2008), “Saw V” (2008), and “The Unborn” (2009), the film version of “Think Like a Man” (2012) and “Anchorman 2: The Legend” (2013). She is also starring in Hulu’s upcoming Foxy Brown series adaptation.
