Delicia Cordon’s BFF Pens Open Letter Amidst Investigation of Bloody Attack
Mia Boykin took to social media to share words encouragement and support to best friend Delicia Cordon. As previously reported, earlier this month, Cordon was attacked and beaten in the Georgia home she once shared with Buffalo Bills running back, LeSean McCoy. This week, Boykin posted Cordon as her #WomenCrushWednesday writing,
Dear the STRONGEST woman I know… @msdecordon Anyone who knows you, knows you are one of the most loving, caring, & genuinely kind hearted females around! Not to mention one of the most amazing mothers alive, but they may not know all that you have been through in life. For me to witness your pain first hand, it amazes me how you are still able to smile through it all! The average woman would have broken down, but not you! You are a real fighter & I can’t wait for the world to admire you like I do! The world will try to break you, but only the strong survive!
Boykin was the first to publicly suspect that McCoy was behind the attack, as the two were in the midst of a dispute over who should retain custody of the home they shared and gifts from McCoy. The post, since deleted, reportedly stated:
@shadymccoy is THE DEVIL!!! YOU ARE AN ANIMAL!!!!!! We didn’t say anything about how you beat your dog “Henny” into kidney failure. Let’s not talk about all the times my best friend had to stop you from VICIOUSLY beating your son for small things like peeing in the bed. We kept quiet about your drug usage … all theILLEGAL steroids and needles you were using, but we will not keep quiet about this!!!!!! I can’t believe you did this to my best friend!!!!! YOUR KARMA IS GOING TO BE SO REAL!!!!!! The world needs to know what type of animal you really are!!!!!!! This was just her yesterday on the left and now this morning this is her on the right!!!!
Now, recordings of a 911 call McCoy placed in 2017 have since surfaced to back up the claim that Cordon did not want to leave home in response to McCoy’s direct request for her to vacate.
I’m an NFL player, I play for the Buffalo Bills…I don’t want no drama,” he told dispatchers.
Initially, Cordon, concurred with that suspicion, stating that the NFL’er wanted to take back gifts of jewelry as well as the property they shared. In a statement by Corden’s attorney, Tanya Graham, McCoy would,
often suggest to Ms. Cordon that she could be robbed because the jewelry was expensive.
The attorney also reported that McCoy tried to have Cordon “unlawfully evicted” by a few of his friends, but his efforts failed. However, according to best friend Mia, her lawyer has since requested that all mention of the attack be removed from social media:

and for the record, Delicia’s lawyer forced me to remove that post. I stand by what I said. I’ve personally addressed @leseanmccoy on everything that was stated many many times over the years. Lie to these people if you want Shady, by you know I know everything.
For his part, McCoy has denied any involvement and says the allegations are “baseless and offensive.” McCoy and Cordon have been together since 2016. Cordon has since moved out of the home and now says she doesn’t think McCoy was involved in the attack.
