Sheree Whitfield Explains Quitting ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ – They Low Balled Me!
Sheree Whitfield Says ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ Low Balled Her
Shereé Whitfield is finally breaking her silence when it comes to the status of her peach. Since the Real Housewives of Atlanta cast began filming a few weeks ago, Whitfield is one housewife who was noticeably absent. Thanks to Instagram’s anonymous questions and answers feature, Whitfield informed her followers know the real reason why she will not be returning the franchise. Rumors speculated that Whitfield was offered a “friend” role for the 11th season, meaning her peach would be revoked, and would be raking in less money than her peach holding counterparts. A follower asked if she would be returning. She responded,
Currently living my best life. Was not interested in entertaining the low ball offer that was sent. Know ur worth.
Another follower asked why she didn’t accept the “friend” role and she responded
I’m worth more than a friend.
One person suspected she was fired, to that, Whitfield responded,
Fired…..no hunni, declined.
Another user asked her to weigh the pros and cons of being in the show. She explained,
Pros: Good opportunities, that mula & being able to help others thru sharing my truth. Cons: drama, stress, and negativity.
Someone also asked if Whitfield had been in contact with her ex-cast mates, Kenya Moore, NeNe Leakes, and Kim Zolciak-Biermann. She coyly responds,
Talk to Kim and reached out to NeNe some weeks ago.
As Whitfield might not be returning to the franchise, it’s suspected that neither will Moore. Via many social media posts, Kenya alluded she had also received a lowball offer, and that she was offered “friend” role, as well. While Moore has denied any claims she could be returning as a friend, the verdict is still out.
The pregnant housewife shared an image to Instagram with a caption that said she was heading to a “big” meeting. No further details have said meeting has been released.
The truth of Moore’s return will be unveiled once the new season airs.
