Demi Lovato is taking the proper steps towards a proper recovery. The singer was reportedly discharged from the hospital last Saturday (August 5), and took a private jet to an undisclosed rehab facility. This recent check-in follows after Lovato’s overdose and the release of her first statement since being in the hospital.

A source close to Lovato’s camp spoke about her sobriety, the environment she was in at the hospital, and her future,

Demi left the hospital over the weekend. She will get continued care at an in-patient rehab facility. At the hospital, she was surrounded by family and friends that support her sobriety. They all want Demi to be the best she can. Demi is surrounded by a lot of love. She has people in her life that really care. She has a long journey ahead, but with all the love, her journey could absolutely be a positive one.

In the past, Lovato has stayed at an in-patient facility, where she worked to get sober and her life back on track. The source added,
