Ariana Grande Pens Heartfelt Message To Mac Miller – I’m so sorry I couldn’t fix or take your pain away
Days after his passing, Ariana Grande has taken to Instagram to send a message out to her late ex-boyfriend, Mac Miller. She captioned the personal video:
i adored you from the day i met you when i was nineteen and i always will. i can’t believe you aren’t here anymore. i really can’t wrap my head around it. we talked about this. so many times. i’m so mad, i’m so sad i don’t know what to do. you were my dearest friend. for so long. above anything else. i’m so sorry i couldn’t fix or take your pain away. i really wanted to. the kindest, sweetest soul with demons he never deserved. i hope you’re okay now. rest.
Mac Miller and Ariana Grande began building a friendship after the two collaborated on “Baby It’s Cold Outside” (2012) and Ariana’s hit single “The Way” (2013). The two did not begin dating until 2016, however, they called it quits in May 2018. At the time, Ariana admits that she “cared for him” and “tried to support his sobriety and prayed for his balance” for years.
Last Friday, months after his break up with Ariana, Mac Miller was found dead in his Los Angeles home. Authorities suspect he died of a possible overdose.
