Tekashi 6ix9ine Pleads Not Guilty To Racketeering Charges, Trial Date Set For September 2019
On Monday morning, Tekashi 6ix9ine was back in court where he entered a plea of not guilty. He also received a trial date, however, he’ll have to await the date from behind bars as he has been denied bail again.
Tekashi has been in jail since November 18th on racketeering and federal weapons charges. According to the indictment, Tekashi and his crew ran a criminal enterprise and were responsible for a slew of crimes, including robbery, drug sales, and murder. If found guilty, he could possibly serve 20 years to life behind bars. Tekashi’s former manager “Shotti” reportedly told the court on Monday:
We don’t fold, we don’t bend, we don’t break. It’s Tr3yway.
Tekashi’s trial date has been set for September 4, 2019. His lawyers plan to apply for bail directly to the trial judge.
