Pete Davidson Says He’s Being Bullied Online – “No Matter How Hard People Try To Make Me Kill Myself, I Won’t!”
Pete Davidson has been dealing with a lot of negative attention since his relationship with Ariana Grande (and lack thereof) was thrust into the spotlight.
Just weeks after his breakup, and days after Ariana Grande released the video for “Thank U, Next”, Pete Davidson took to Instagram to reveal that people online have been using his struggles with borderline personality disorder and depression against him.
I’ve been getting online bullied and in public by people for 9 months. I’ve spoken about BPD and being suicidal publicly only in the hopes that it will bring awareness and help kids like myself who don’t want to be on this earth. I just want you guys to know. No matter how hard the internet or anyone tries to make me kill myself. I won’t. I’m upset I even have to say this.
Last year, Pete Davidson opened up about his mental illness for the first time. In May, shortly after going public with his relationship with Ariana Grande, he reiterated that his mental illness does not negatively impact his relationship. In October, after a brief engagement, Ariana and Pete broke up. Needless to say, fans and others on the internet haven’t all been supportive of their relationship.
