Ronnie and Shamari DeVoe Owe the IRS Over $300K in Back Taxes
Apart from the drama of a previous open marriage, new details have surfaced about new “Real Housewives of Atlanta” stars – singers Ronnie and Shamari Devoe. The New Edition/Blaque alums owe the IRS over $300,000 in back taxes! Radar Online recently revealed that Ronnie was originally assessed in 2013 for the amount of $366,786.38. Yikes!
Ronnie has since admitted to their financial troubles stating on “The Domenick Nati Show”:
“There’s some truth to everything in life. We’ve all had some tax challenges at some point, or doctored up some documents to be able to get some type of tax return.”
He continued:
“It is definitely something I’m not running away from. The IRS knows me, I know them. Payments are being made.”
Hopefully profits from both “Real Housewives of Atlanta” and the couple’s new single, “Love Comes Through” are raking in enough to dispel their tax debt completely.
