Micheal Jordan Explains Hitting NBA Star Malik Monk On The Head [VIDEO]
Michael Jordan wanted Charlotte Hornets player Malik Monk to feel the severity of his frustrations Wednesday night after their close win. Within the final seconds of the game, the retired basketball legend and Hornets owner knocked Monk seemingly lightly upside his head more than once.
Catch the clip below.
Jordan has responded via his spokeswoman, claiming there was no malicious intent behind the pop. He says,
It was like a big brother and little brother tap. No negative intent. Only Love!
Monk has responded as well, claiming he expected it to cause a rift among some people.
..It was nothing. He was just playing. It’s mike, and whatever he does is going to make [news] because nowadays it’s all social media and everybody has their phone out there and I wasn’t surprised.
The Hornets are scheduled to take on the New York Knicks Friday (Dec. 14).
