Andy Cohen – I’m Having A Baby In 6 Weeks
Andy Cohen shared a special announcement during Thursday (Dec. 19) night’s “O Come Original (OG) Faithful” Housewife Reunion on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live. (‘WWHL’).” Cohen said he would be having a baby in the next six weeks via surrogate. New reports are providing details about the executive producer’s awaited journey through fatherhood.
A source close to Cohen claims a family is,
something Andy has talked about wanting to do for a long while now, [and he has been] well under way with preparations for the baby to arrive.
The 50-year-old said on “WWHL,”
I’ve always tried to be as transparent as possible about my life. I over share and I expect everyone around me to do the same and tonight I want you to be the first to know that after many years of careful deliberation, fair amount of prayers and the benefit of science, if all goes according to plan, in about six weeks time, I’m going to become a father thanks to a wonderful surrogate who is carrying my future. Family means everything to me and having one of my own is something I’ve wanted in my heart for my entire life and though it has taken me longer than most to get there, I cannot wait for what I envision will be the most rewarding chapter yet. To the viewers at home, I call you my friends at home because we are friends. You have supported me through almost 10 years night after night. This has been an incredible, joyous journey with you all. I am grateful to live my dream everyday and grateful to you for coming along for the ride. I don’t take any of it for granted.
Cohen re-shared a clip of the episode to his social media, coupling it with pink heart emojis.
Housewives included in the episode were NeNe Leakes (“RHOA”), Teresa Giudice (“RHONJ”) Kyle Richards (“RHOBC”), Ramona Singer (“RHONY”), and Vicki Gunvalson (“RHOC”).
In addition to the Housewives franchise’s previously mentioned, Cohen was also an executive producer on “Project Runway” and “Top Chef”; he won a Primetime Emmy in 2010 in the category of Outstanding Reality – Competition Program for “Top Chef.”
