Mariah Carey Considers Her Former Assistant “Trash”
Mariah Carey’s camp has released a statement following the lawsuit her former assistant Lianna Azarian recently filed against the “Caution” singer. Azarian claims in her suit she suffered physical and mental abuse at the hands of Carey and Carey’s ex-manager, Stella Bulochnikov Stolper. Now, Carey’s legal counsel is responding to the lawsuit, claiming Azarian is out to extort the artist and have plans to “clean the trash” out of Carey’s life.
This new year welcomes Mariah’s continued efforts to clean the trash from her life. According to a Complaint filed today in California, an executive assistant employed in 2015 to help with business and personal matters, turned out to be a grifter and extortionist.
Apparently, Azarian has damaging footage of the mother of two and allegedly threatened to leak the video to buy herself a home. Carey’s team cites when Azarian originally started working for Carey 2015, she signed an NDA, and if she leaks the footage, it would violate her agreement.
Azarian, without Mariah’s knowledge or permission, secretly filmed Mariah engaged in personal activities which, if revealed, Azarian knew would be personally embarrassing and professionally damaging to Mariah.
The suit also says in 2017, after Azarian was fired, she hired a lawyer and,
demanded millions of dollars and refused to return the evidence….[and] left with no alternative because Azarian refuses to return all versions of the criminal videos.
