Lil Kim Blames Label For Album Delay, Blasts Spotify: They’re Hating On Me!
While Lil Kim fans were counting down the days until her newest album was released, she revealed on Instagram that the wait is going to be much longer than anticiated. And if you ask her, it’s all because of her label, EOne.
She told fans Monday night,
“EOne has pushed back the date of my album ya’ll. If you have an issue take it up with them. This has nothing to do with me. I am beyond upset with this and couldn’t wait to show you all what I’ve been working on.”
She added a few words about music streaming app Spotify.
“Also spotify is hating on me. I can’t understand why after all of the favors I’ve done for them. Direct all of your energy towards them too.”

Lil Kim announced back in March that she was working on her fifth studio album, her first in 14 years. She said during a concert that the title is Nine. It was supposed to have a release date of May 17.

She has at least dropped the video for her single, Go Awff, since then.
Her last album, The Naked Truth, hit shelves on September 27, 2005. That one sold 394,000 copies.
