R. Kelly’s Girlfriends Moving Out Of Trump Tower + Trying To Score Book Deal So Singer Can Afford Michael Jackson’s Lawyer

R. Kelly’s girlfriends Azriel Clary, 21 and Joycelyn Savage, 23, are trying to help the jailed 52-year-old singer hire late Michael Jackson’s previous lawyer.

All together, Kelly is currently up against 18 counts of federal indictments in Chicago and New York. He could be sentenced to 195 years for the Chicago charges alone. He was also hit with 13 counts of child pornography, enticing a minor into illegal sexual activity, and conspiracy to obstruct justice.

It was previously reported that Kelly was looking to retain Tom Mesereau as his new lawyer.

Mesereau served as Jackson’s lawyer during his child molestation trial in 2005. Jackson was ultimately acquitted. It’s no secret that Mesereau is pretty pricey and Kelly will reportedly have to pay millions to hire him.

And while he has help from supporters, Clary and Savage are also trying to step in, according to new reports. From trying to land a book deal to getting paid interviews, the ladies allegedly hope to help Kelly get Mesereau on his team. While there is said to be some interest in interviews, none are scheduled yet. Plus, they haven’t been successful in trying to get a manager for their aspiring careers in the entertainment industry.

Meanwhile, they are also looking for somewhere else to live. The ladies were living with Kelly in his Trump Tower condo in Chicago before he was taken into custody in July. Now, his current attorney Steve Greenberg said they want to relocate.

“They are looking to be moved. They are not being evicted. I believe their [condo] lease is paid up for August and perhaps September. The landlord has been great.”

Kelly will reportedly live with them if he’s granted release at his next hearing next week. Greenberg added,

“My client would live wherever his two girlfriends plan to relocate, and they are looking for a place in Chicago. They all plan to live together.”

Kelly is also said to be getting his request to be moved out of solitary confinement and into general population next week. He’s currently in New York’s Metropolitan Correctional Center.

“My client is not a flight risk or a danger to the community, and the allegations are old. The only reason he is in custody is because he is a high-profile case.”
