Gucci Mane Goes Gucci! Rapper Launches Collection With Luxury Line

He took to Instagram Tuesday (Oct. 1), to show off the Gucci Cruise 20 line.

It’s safe to say Gucci Mane’s name is paying off, literally. While he was born Radric Davis, Gucci Mane has said in the past that his stage name was inspired by his father’s nickname, which was “the original Gucci Mane.”
When asked if his dad rocked Gucci faithfully, Gucci Mane previously explained,
“Nah. Being born in a small town in Alabama, my moms and my pops side are both from down there. Its real country down there and my grandmother gave my daddy a lil country name–she didnt know nothing about them clothes.”
Meanwhile, several fans and celebrities have boycotted Gucci after it showed off a sweater that seemed to have blackface.

It doesn’t look like that will hurt the success of Gucci Mane’s collaboration.
