Missy Elliott Drops New Futuristic Music Video Featuring Sum1 For ‘DripDemeanor’ 

Iconic rapper Missy Elliott released her latest innovative visual on Thursday (Oct. 17), taking over as co-director with Derek Blanks. In the video for her single, “DripDemeanor,” the MTV 2019 Video Vanguard award winner features an appearance by R&B newcomer by the name of Sum1.

In her traditional video fashion, Missy and her crew of dancers grooved to the beat while wearing futuristic glow-in-the-dark bodysuits with matching hair.

In addition, Missy took her creativity in the video to the next level with several innovative hairstyles, turning her braids into a skyscraper. As the scene continues, Sum1 even peeps out of one of the window.

The rapper’s hairstylist, Kellon Deryck took to Instagram giving insight on styling her braids. He says,

”Who else has a building made of braids on their head but the legend Missy Elliott! And no, this hair isn’t digitally animated.”

At the end of Missy’s video, Teyana Taylor makes a surprise appearance speaking in an accent while educating a young girl about the legendary career of Missy Elliott in a museum.
