Gabrielle Union Works With A Black Female Photographer For The 1st Time In Her Career
Can you believe Gabrielle Union has never shot with a Black female photographer until now? Gabrielle Union, whose acting career has been on 10 since she was in her 20s playing a high school student in movies like 10 Things I Hate About You and Bring It On, revealed that she just posed in front of a Black woman photographer for the very first time.
So, who was behind the camera? Famed photographer Raven B shot the promotional photos for Gabrielle Union’s partnership with Amazon.

Union wrote,
“Still cant believe this is the 1st time I shot with a black woman photographer or any WOC for that matter in my entire career. Talent rarely gets to dictate who is on the other side of the camera. That is changing slowly… but whew. If yall only knew. Thank you @RAVIEB”

Raven B appreciated the love and said she was honored to break the mold for Union.

Interestingly enough, Union’s tweets came just days after supermodel Naomi Campbell revealed she worked with a Black photographer for the first time for a high-fashion photoshoot.
