R. Kelly Accuser Faith Rodgers Says She’s Been Physically Attacked By His Supporters: “It’s Kind Of Worse Since He’s In Jail!”
One of the sexual assault accusers of infamous singer, R. Kelly, recently told CBS News that his arrest has had a major impact on her. Faith Rodgers says she has felt under more attack than ever. The 21-year-old says that when she was 19, R. Kelly unknowingly recorded their sexual acts and gave her a sexually transmitted disease. She later filed a lawsuit against him.
Faith says that since appearing in the release of the Lifetime series, “Surviving R. Kelly” this time last year, she has endured several verbal and physical attacks. She added that his 2019 arrests haven’t made things easier.
“[R. Kelly’s arrest is] never going to stop the backlash. If anything, it’s kind of worse since he’s in jail. It’s a whole bunch of angry fans, so it really hasn’t gotten any better. Knowing he’s in jail, that’s just knowing he’s not hurting anybody else, but people who he hurt are still being affected.”
Her father, Pastor Charles Rodgers, says he and his wife, Faith’s mother, worry about her safety more now than ever:
“There’s been a lot of negativity. We often worry about Faith’s well-being, her safety. When she’s out trying to live her life, you know, many times she’s attacked verbally, she’s been attacked physically. It’s pretty traumatizing.”

R.Kelly Turns Himself Into Police
Despite the attacks from R. Kelly supporters, Faith Rodgers is still willing to speak out against him, even testifying against him in court.
“[He] needs to go to jail forever. There needs to be no getting out…If they ask me, then I’ll do my part.”
Meanwhile, the “Surviving R. Kelly Part II: The Reckoning” premieres Thursday night (Jan. 2).
R. Kelly’s attorney gave this statement:
“I have not seen the show, ‘Surviving R. Kelly Part II,’ so I do not know what lies and distortions they are planning to air. But both of these women are simply out to exploit their past connection to R. Kelly. Look at their social media, they are not victims, they are profiteers.”
