Oprah Says She’s Not Embarrassed About Falling On Stage [VIDEO]
Oprah Winfrey, 66, took a nasty tumble at the Forum arena in Los Angeles over the weekend (Feb. 29th), during her “Oprah’s 2020 Vision: Your Life in Focus” while ironically talking about “balance.” As previously reported, as Oprah walked back and forth on stage with a microphone in her hand, she lost her footing and tripped on her shoe. Prior to the mishap, she told the audience:
“Here’s my definition of what wellness means to me… Wellness to me means all things in balance. And balance doesn’t mean all things are equal or at peace at all times.”

Thankfully, Oprah didn’t appear to be hurt as she continued afterwards and joked with the audience saying,
“It’s nice to be talking about balance and then fall.”
Soon after, Oprah discussed the moment with her bestie, Gayle King and long-term boyfriend, Stedman Graham back stage. She explained to them:
“I didn’t think (it was) embarrassing, I just thought, “OK, I fell. Everybody knows what falling is.”

In her footage, Oprah goes on making a joke referring to the famous Life Alert commercials from the late 1980s and early 1990s.
“You would prefer not to fall, but now I’ve fallen. My thing was, I’ve fallen and I can’t get up.”
In addition to Gayle, prior to their one-on-one on stage, J. Lo. discussed a few fashion tips with the media mogul while checking in after her fall.
Oprah later gave a quick check-in update on Instagram the following day (Mar. 1st), thanking everyone for the concerns while revealing she’s doing a little recovering with reading and ice.

Get well soon Oprah!
