Michael Jordan’s Daughter Addresses Her Mom’s Absence From ‘The Last Dance’ Docu
As successful as the 10-part docu-series ‘The Last Dance’ was, some people were left with a bit of dissatisfaction after noticing that Michael Jordan’s ex-wife, Juanita Jordan, wasn’t in the series. Michael Jordan and Juanita Jordan married in 1989 and divorced 17 years later in 2006. They share 3 children together.

During an interview with Essence, the former couple’s daughter, Jasmine Jordan, explained why her mom was absent from the project.
“At the end of the day, if you’d ask my mom, she lived it. There’s no need to go down memory lane and bring up everything that has already happened when the proof is in the pudding. She was at the championship. She was at the retirement ceremony. We saw her in her glory…so no, I don’t think there’s a need to rehash and go through it all. She already lived it.”
Juanita Jordan may have sat this one out but she has done video projects with her ex-husband in the past before. The two, along with Michael Jordan’s late father, were once featured in a Hanes commercial in 1992.

That same year Juanita Jordan also did a rare interview giving insight to their lives.
As we previously reported, ‘The Last Dance’ docu-series was a huge hit! The series, which revolves around the career of Michael Jordan and his last year with the Chicago Bulls, pulled in a record-breaking 6.1 million viewers for the first two episodes alone. It currently is the most viewed documentary in the history of ESPN.
