Rickey Smiley’s Daughter Aaryn Home From The Hospital After Being Shot Multiple Times
The road to recovery for Rickey Smiley’s daughter, Aaryn Smiley, continues as she has been released from the hospital.
Rickey Smiley shared with his listeners that his youngest daughter, Aaryn Smiley was shot twice while visiting a Whataburger in Houston over 4th of July weekend. Because of the severity of the shooting, Aaryn Smiley had to have surgery. While in the hospital, Aaryn made a series of posts to her Instagram story about being alone and not being able to see her parents because of the COVID-19 pandemic. She also posted pictures of the bloody car she was riding in when shots were fired.



Now, she’s back home! Rickey Smiley shared a video on Instagram Saturday (July 11th), announcing that his baby girl was released from the hospital. In the caption, Rickey Smiley wrote:
My Daughter Reunited With Her Mother. It was really beautiful to see my daughter @ryn.smiley and her mom @itstommi together after she was released from the hospital.”
The video, which is a little more than a minute long, shows Aryn and her mother embracing while Aaryn sits in a wheelchair in front of a walker.
We’re glad to see Aaryn is recovering!
