NBA Reportedly Investigating Rockets Player Danuel House Jr., Allegedly Let Female COVID-19 Testing Official Into His Hotel Room
An NBA player is facing a bit of trouble for his conduct inside the league’s bubble.
Just weeks after Seattle Seahawks released Kemah Siverand for trying to sneak a woman into the team’s hotel, Houston Rockets guardĀ Danuel HouseĀ is reportedly under investigation for similar behavior.
He didn’t play for Game 3 of the playoffs for personal reasons and reports alleged that the league was investigating him for
“allegedly allowing a female COVID-19 testing official into his hotel room.”
NBA players have been in an isolated bubble in an effort to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. There are strict rules when it comes to who’s allowed to visit them.
Danuel House has denied the accusations. The league is scheduled to make a decision ahead of Game 4 tonight (Thursday, Sept. 10th).
The Rockets are the only team still staying at Walt Disney World’s Grand Floridian Resort. The team is tested for COVID-19 daily.
So far, House has averaged 11.4 points and shooting 36% from 3-point range in the nine playoff games that have been played inside the bubble.
The Los Angeles Lakers currently have a 2-1 lead in the playoffs.
