Actor Chadwick Boseman is undoubtedly gone too soon but his undeniable talents will be recognized and honored for years to come. Of the Oscars 2021 contenders, the Black Panther actor could quite possibly rank among 7 posthumous artists who’ve sadly passed on.
According to reports, Chadwick Boseman will be competing for acting attention for his role in George C. Wolfe’s upcoming “Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom.” His work in the film, which also starred Viola Davis, was reportedly outstanding for his final on-screen performance. The Netflix distributed film has yet to confirm his placement category in lead or supporting.

Chadwick Boseman will also have another opportunity to contend for his role as Stormin’ Norman in Spike Lee’s summer hit “Da 5 Bloods,” in which his co-star, Delroy Lindo will campaign for best actor.
As reported previously, Chadwick Boseman, notably remembered for his 2018 star role as T’Challa in Marvel’s Black Panther, died at the age of 43 after a silent battle with colon cancer.
The actor, now deemed a historical figure for his portrayal as a Black superhero amongst millions of fans, had received many flowers while he was alive. Black Panther was the recipient of 3 Oscars in 2019 and many other awards just as noteworthy.
