Since then she has not spoken out. On December 7th, her brother Tommy Williams commented on their mother’s passing in a YouTube live video. He said his family was going through the process of grief and added:
“Maybe some of you can see what Wendy’s been going through.”
Ahead of their mother’s death, fans were concerned about Wendy Williams’ behavior on her daytime talk show.
He continued and said:
“You know it’s mental health. It’s life, you know she might be a celebrity and out there on the stage and everything…. She’s a child of somebody as well you know. She’s a sister. She’s an aunt. She’s a mother. You know how that goes ladies and gentlemen and then it’s all laid out on stage so it’s like you know, what are you gonna do?”

He also mentioned how he felt she needed to take more breaks and inferred how the show might be an added stressor.
“She’s the type of person, and this is the problem, as I told her and I often tell her, ‘You don’t know how to take a day off…’ For somebody so instrumental in her show then you got to know whether to stay or go and that was her setback I think. Hopefully she makes some changes and I know she’s doing a lot better now.”
It’s unknown specifically what date the late Williams passed.
Continued prayers for Wendy Williams and her family.
