Conservative Radio Host Rush Limbaugh Dies After Battle With Lung Cancer [CONDOLENCES]
Legendary talk radio host Rush Limbaugh has passed away at 70 years old.
His family announced the news, stating that he died after his battle with Stage IV lung cancer.
His wife said on his radio show Wednesday morning, Feb. 17th:
“Losing a loved one is terribly difficult, even more so when that loved one is larger than life. Rush will forever be the greatest of all time.”
In his last broadcast for 2020, Rush Limbaugh stated:
“I wasn’t expected to be alive today. I wasn’t expected to make it to October, and then to November, and then to December. And yet, here I am, and today, got some problems, but I’m feeling pretty good today.”
Rush Limbaugh, who launched his career in the 1980s, was diagnosed with cancer in January 2020. Former President Donald Trump then awarded him with the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian honor in the nation, just days later at the State of the Union address.
