Tekashi 6ix9ine Accused Of Stealing #1 Song ‘GOOBA’ In New Lawsuit

Tekashi 6ix9ine Accused Of Stealing #1 Song ‘GOOBA’ In New Lawsuit
Tekashi 6ix9ine’s “GOOBA” was one of his biggest hits after being released from jail last April.
But now he’s facing a lawsuit over the single, which went #1 on Billboard’s streaming charts.
According to TMZ, Texas producer group, BEATDEMONS is suing Tekashi 6ix9ine (born Daniel Hernandez), which claims that “GOOBA” is extremely similar to its song “Regular.”
The group pointed out that “Regular” was first released back in 2018, and that its accompanying video has more than 160,000 views. It alleges that Tekashi or his team heard the song and used it as a foundation for “GOOBA,” which has nearly 7 million views on YouTube.
“GOOBA” has been credited as a reason why Tekashi 6ix9ine claimed he earned $20 million since being released from prison early due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the plaintiffs want a piece of the pie.
It’s not clear how much they’re suing for.
Meanwhile, the rapper is also facing a lawsuit for refusing to pay a $75,000 security bill that he allegedly racked up before he was taken to custody. A stripper also sued him, accusing him of allegedly hitting her in the head with a champagne bottle.
As previously reported, Tekashi 6ix9ine was sentenced to two years in jail for racketeering charges. He was initially facing 47 years before testifying against his fellow Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods members.
