Michael B. Jordan Addresses Speculation His Relationship With Lori Harvey Is Fake: People That Know Me Know My Heart

Michael B. Jordan and Lori Harvey have certainly received mixed reactions about their relationship since going public earlier this year.

Some have even alleged that the two were faking their relationship as a PR stunt.

The Creed star shut down those claims in an interview with Men’s Health. 

“For all the success that I’ve had, there’s going to be negative reactions and opinions thrown at me. That just comes with it. When you’re younger, you’re just frustrated, but when you start to realize that this is what it is, you start to understand. I’m never going to make everybody happy.”

He added that his fans only see what he allows them to when it comes to his personal life.

“People that know me know my heart. But people that know me for my work . . . they know what I allow them to know. The fact that I’ve been so closed off about a lot of parts of my life was a personal choice. As I’ve gotten older and a little more mature and comfortable in my own skin, I’ve become less concerned about it.”

And it looks like he and Lori Harvey are getting serious. Her stepdad, TV personality, and comedian Steve Harvey revealed that he’s met Michael B. Jordan’s father. He said while on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Feb. 25th,

“I’m happy for him. He’s a great guy, met his father and everything, but uh—that was a lot. I don’t know where he’s gonna go from here, so hopefully, you know, maybe he’ll make Creed 4, 5 and 6.”

He previously spoke on their relationship on his morning radio show and said,

“I like this one. I still got my eye on him…Like right now? Nice guy. But I got this little section partna, where all I gotta do is click a switch and I can hate ya a**. ‘Cause you ain’t the sexiest man in the world to me! Let’s be clear about that.”
