Kobe Bryant’s Family Files To Trademark ‘Mamba And Mambacita’
Kobe Bryant’s family wants to trademark the two nicknames most associated with the late legendary NBA player and his daughter Gianna Bryant.

A lawyer representing Kobe Bryant LLC has filed an application to trademark “Mamba and Mambacita”, according to TMZ Wednesday, March 17th. The paperwork was filed on March 10th and said the trademarks would be used for apparel like shirts, skirts, pants, shorts, bottoms, socks, dresses, jackets, and hoodies. It would also include active clothes like sweatbands, footwear, and armbands.
It’s not clear if the family is working on something or if they just want to stop anyone else from being able to use the popular phrase.
Kobe Bryant’s estate previously filed to trademark “Mamba Sports Academy”, “Mambacita”, “Lady Mambas” and “Lil Mambas.”

Vanessa Bryant opened up about losing her son and daughter in a touching interview for PEOPLE’s Women Changing The World Issue:
“I can’t say that I’m strong every day. I can’t say that there aren’t days when I feel like I can’t survive to the next.”
“This pain is unimaginable [but] you just have to get up and push forward. Lying in bed crying isn’t going to change the fact that my family will never be the same again. But getting out of bed and pushing forward is going to make the day better for my girls and for me. So that’s what I do.”
What are your thoughts on the trademark application? Comment and let us know.
