Jay-Z Raps ‘Come Be My Kardashian, Queen Of The Come Up’ In New Song & Fans Have Mixed Reactions
Jay-Z sparked quite the controversy with his first on DMX’s highly-anticipated posthumous album Exodus.
In the song “Bath Salts” featuring Jay-Z and Nas, Jay-Z is heard rapping,
“come be my Kardashian, Queen of the come up”
It’s not clear which Kardashian sister he was referring to, but he and Kim Kardashian have had a rocky history. It was reported in 2018 that he and Beyonce cut ties with Kim Kardashian and his former friend Kanye West. An insider claimed back then that Beyonce and Jay-Z weren’t fans of Kanye West’s controversial political views as he openly supported then president Donald Trump. An insider alleged,
“They are outraged over Kanye’s recent political rants. They think Kanye is a disgrace, and is only doing this for attention.”
Still, it looks like the drama has subsided as Kim Kardashian attended Bey and Jay’s private Oscar’s party earlier this year.
Either way, fans were left confused by the mention and couldn’t help but respond on Twitter with their own theories of what it meant.
