Dave Chappelle Issues Shady Apology To Candace Owens For Past Remarks: I’m Sorry I Called You Articulate
It looks like there’s only one thing Dave Chappelle wants to take back concerning his previous statements about conservative personality Candace Owens.
In his Netflix special 8:46, he blasted Candace Owens for her criticism against George Floyd. He said “She’s the most articulate idiot I’ve ever seen in my life,” before questioning if she had a “stinky p****.”
Now, on his new podcast The Midnight Miracle with Talib Kweli and Yasiin Bey, Dave Chappelle made it clear he’s standing by his comments. He asked his co-hosts,
“There’s no way I owe Candace Owens an apology, is there?”
Yasiin Bey appeared to agree as he called Owens “a mascot of colonial interest in America today.”
Dave Chappelle added,
“I did say that but I also conceded that I don’t know if her p**** stinks or not, but that I was guessing that it probably does stink.”
He went on to say Owens is
“cruel and dangerous and completely the opposite of any Black woman I’ve ever met in my life.”
Still, he did offer one apology.
“By the way, Candace Owens, I’m sorry I called you articulate.”
Owens has not responded yet.
