Sha’Carri Richardson Reportedly Offered $250,000 Partnership W/ Vape Company
When one door closes, another one opens.
Just weeks after she was barred from this year’s Olympics after testing positive for marijuana, track star Sha’Carri Richardson reportedly has another opportunity on her hands. And it looks like it’s a lucrative one.
Vape company Dr. Dabber reportedly issued Sha’Carri Richardson an offer to become a brand ambassador and is willing to pay her $250,000, according to a letter obtained by TMZ.
The letter for Sha’Carri Richardson was dated for yesterday (July 13th) and reads,
“Dear Ms. Richardson,
We were saddened to learn of your recent suspension from the US Track and Field team, due to THC and missing the opportunity to compete at the 2021 Tokyo Olympic games. At Dr. Dabber, we believe that THC can actually have many positive effects on an athlete’s recovery and overall mental wellbeing.”
It continues,
“Witnessing what you’re capable of in the Olympic trials, and how fabulous you looked while doing it, proved your star-power and ability to command the country’s attention. Considering your talent and grace over these past weeks, we would love to offer you the opportunity to work with our team as a spokesperson for Dr. Dabber.”
The company informs her that her partnership would include testing the popular electronic dab rig and vape pens in a “resident doctor” role.
It ends the letter by offering her $250,000.
It’s not clear if Richardson will accept, but Dr. Dabber does have more room for another celebrity ambassador.
It just dropped former Disney star Kyle Massey amid charges against him. He’s accused of sending explicit content to a 13-year-old girl. He denied the allegations but Dr. Dabber still parted ways with him.
Dr. Dabber said in a statement last month,
“We are ending our relationship with Kyle Massey. We have been working with him on a trial basis for a month. Today, we let his team know we will be cutting ties and requested all public content with our brand to be deleted from his social media.”
