Cynthia Bailey Confirms ‘Very Difficult & Heartfelt Decision’ To Leave ‘RHOA’: It’s Time To Move On To My Next Chapter
Cynthia Bailey has confirmed she is parting ways with Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta ahead of its 14th season.
The supermodel, who first joined the show in its third season, took to Instagram to confirm recent reports.
She wrote today (Monday, Sept. 27):
“After much thought and consideration, I have made the very difficult and heartfelt decision not to return for the next season of Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Thank you NBC Universal, Bravo, and Truly Original for over a decade of partnership. I can’t wait to see what we do next!”
She added,
“Thank you to my Real Housewives of Atlanta castmates for eleven of the most unbelievable years of my life; and the most incredible & UNFORGETTABLE memories!
I am so grateful to have had this amazing journey, and I am anxiously waiting to embark on new adventures.”
She ended by thanking fans and wrote,
“Most importantly, THANK YOU to my fans! I could not have done it without your blessings, love, and support. Without the fans, none of this would be possible. I love and appreciate all of you.
It’s time to move on to my next chapter, and I look forward to sharing it with all of you.

Fans have seen Cynthia Bailey go through several ups and downs on RHOA. When she joined the show, she was dating entrepreneur Peter Thomas, who popped the question in an episode. Their wedding was also televised on the popular series. They ultimately divorced in season nine.
Cynthia Bailey then began dating sportscaster Mike Hill, and he proposed in season 12.
They tied the knot on Oct. 10, 2020.
Along with relationships, fans have seen Cynthia Bailey experience a rocky friendship with her on-again-off-again friend Nene Leakes.
Nene Leakes departed RHOA ahead of the 13th season and accused the network of discrimination.
