Yvonne Orji Says A Movie For The Series ‘Insecure’ Will ‘Never Happen’
Sorry ‘Insecure’ fans, but it doesn’t look like you’ll be getting a movie after the series wraps this year.
As previously reported, Issa Rae’s popular HBO series ‘Insecure’ will be ending with season 5, which is set to premiere on Oct. 24. After news broke that this will be the last season for the comedy-drama series many fans have requested that a movie be made to follow up the show.

However, ‘Insecure’ star Yvonne Orji revealed that’s not going to happen. During a recent interview, 37-year-old Yvonne Orji was asked if Issa Rae, 36, changed her mind about ending the show would she be open for two more seasons. She answered,
“[Yes], 2 more seasons and a movie.”
She added,
“But [Issa’s] not doing a movie and she’s not doing two more seasons. So, it doesn’t matter. ‘Cause that call would never happen.”
