Former NFL Player Zac Stacy Arrested In Florida For Attacking Ex In Front Of Their Child

Zac Stacy has been apprehended after battering his ex-girlfriend on camera.

As previously reported, a chilling video of former NFL star Zac Stacy attacking his ex-girlfriend has recently begun circulating. The video shows the 30-year-old violently grabbing his ex–who was right next to their 5-month-old baby–and throwing her into the TV. He then continued to physically assault her as the infant looked on.

After the troubling attack, the victim–Kristin Evans–called 9-1-1 while Zac Stacy fled the scene. She later filed a restraining order against Zac Stacy on behalf of her and their baby, writing:

“He punched me several times in the head! I begged him to stop because the baby was on the couch just a few feet from where he punched me… He then picked me up and threw me into my TV. The TV began to fall and he turned to make sure I wasn’t getting up. As I laid on the floor he began to yell at me, telling me I’m destructive. He then picked me up off the floor and off my feet and body slammed me into our son’s bouncy seat.”

Kristin Evans added:

“I fear for my life and my children’s lives.”

Now, there has been an update. Yesterday (Thursday, Nov. 18th), Zac Stacy was arrested in Orlando, Florida on two counts–aggravated battery and criminal mischief.

Since the matter began making headlines, Kristin Evans has also spoken out, saying:

“This was just the last straw, I would say. I really truly feel that if it continues, he would kill me.”

Evans also addressed why she released the footage of the attack, saying it was to get authorities to take the matter seriously:

“The state would’ve gotten to it whenever they got to it and maybe I wouldn’t sleep for a month or two–or he could get away with it completely.”

She revealed that she had filed reports against Stacy in the past and that the abuse got worse after she gave birth to their child.
