Megan Thee Stallion Lands Netflix First Look Deal, Will Create & Produce New Series
It looks like Megan Thee Stallion has a lot to celebrate this month! The 26-year-old rapper just graduated last week with her Bachelors from Texas Southern University, and now the mega star has inked a first look deal with Netflix to create and executive produce her own shows. In a press release, Netflix’s head of comedy Tracey Pakosta points out how ‘multitalented’ Megan is. She said,
“Megan is a multi-talented creative force who has consistently made her mark on culture. She’s always growing and evolving as an artist, and we’re thrilled that she’s making a home at Netflix for this next chapter in her journey.”
In an recent statement, Megan Thee Stallion, ( born Megan Pete), explains that she is excited to work with the streaming giant and show her wide range of talent. She said,
“I’ve always had a passion for telling creative and entertaining stories, so I’m thrilled about this partnership with Netflix. Venturing into production is the next step in my journey as an entrepreneur and I can’t wait to bring all my ideas to life and for my Hotties to watch.”

The Houston rapper is no stranger to Television. Megan is currently a judge in HBO Max’s reality competition series Legendary as well as guest roles on series such as NBC’s Good Girls and a spot on Sarah Cooper’s Netflix comedy special. Although there are no details yet about the series that she is creating and producing, sources say it is leaning towards comedy. Whatever it is, I’m sure we will all be tuning in!
