2022 Grammys Postponed & Moved From Los Angeles to Las Vegas

The 2022 Grammys Has Officially Been Postponed And Moved From Los Angeles to Las Vegas
It looks like the Grammys is moving to Las Vegas this year!
In the latest Grammys news, sources say that due to the recent omicron variant of COVID-19, the Grammys will now be held in Las Vegas. The show was initially supposed to be held at the Crypto.com Arena, formerly known as the Staples Center, in Los Angeles, at the end of January 2022. However, the star-studded award show will now reportedly be held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on April 3rd.
This is not the first time the prevalence of COVID-19 has affected the date of the Grammys. As you may or may not remember, the 2021 Grammy Award, planned to be held on January 31st, 2021, had to be pushed back 6-weeks to March 14th, after a reported spike in the coronavirus outbreak. Though representatives of the Recording Academy have yet to confirm why the notable award show, sources claim that the Crypto.com Arena was booked up in the days surrounding April 3rd, this would not work for the event, as the Grammy’s requires a 10-day-plus venue lockdown surrounding the event.
Sources say that the Grammys will be hosted by The Daily Show’s Trevor Noah this year. However, Trevor Noah won’t be the only notable celebrity in the building, as exceptional nominees such as Doja Cat, Billie Eilish, H.E.R., Lil Nas X, Kanye West, Silk Sonic, Saweetie, Baby Keem, etc., are expected to be in attendance.
For those who won’t be in attendance at this celebration of music and artistry, the Grammys will be able to stream it on Paramount+.
