Nicki Minaj Denis Collaboration With Coi Leray, Benzino Apologizes: ‘I meant no harm nor did I mean to offend or disrespect anyone’
It looks like Coi Leray is making headlines, thanks to her father Benzino!
The 56-year-old reality tv star/record producer was recently on Clubhouse discussing his daughter’s upcoming album when he claimed that she had a collaboration with Nicki Minaj, 39. Benzino said,
“Her album is gonna be dope. She [Coi Leray] got the song with Nicki Minaj that’s gonna be coming out that’s gonna be crazy.”
It didn’t take long for the news to make its way to the self proclaimed ‘Queen of Rap’. Nicki Minaj took to Instagram and denied the rumors of a collab with Coi Leray, 24. Nicki wrote,
“I don’t have a collab coming with anyone. Onika mode. Love you.”

Coi Leray also addressed the rumors on Instagram Live stating that her dad was trying to defend her, and even though he’s an O.G., he has to know when to take a step back. She said,
“When people was yappin’ they mouth on the Clubhouse he felt like he had to defend himself but I had to tell my dad, he’s an OG and he was super-super big back in the day and everybody knows my dad’s an OG. He gotta play the back, gracefully.”
She continued,
“It’s my turn now. It’s my turn, daddy. I’ma need you to sit the f*ck down, grab some popcorn, enjoy the show, and clap for me when it’s time to clap for me. Alright, daddy?”
Benzino later took to Twitter to issue an apology to his daughter and Nicki Minaj over the alleged rumors. He wrote,
“I just wanna apologize to Coi, Nicki everyone involved, I meant no harm nor did I mean to offend or disrespect anyone. I know better, it’s a business of trust and I broke that. I feel horrible and sad. I am 100 percent in the wrong and it will never happen again. Smh.”
