Boosie Badazz is paying his respects to a civil rights icon.
The rap artist recently shared a video of the historic site where civil rights activist Dr. Mr. Luther King Jr. was shot, leading to his death. Boosie describes his feelings during his visit, and says its sad nothing can be done about the shooter, although it’s known who he is.
Louisiana rap artist Boosie Badazz recently visited a historic landmark, the assassination location of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and shared the experience with fans. The internationally recognized civil rights leader was shot in Memphis, Tennessee April of 1968, by James Earl Ray.
Since the tragic event, the Lorraine Motel where the deadly shooting took place has been open as a tourist attraction. While the site attracts spectators from all walks of life, Boosie Badazz seems to be one of the latest celeb visitors to tour the site.
In a recent twitter post, the “Wipe Me Down” rapper shared a video of the balcony where the assassination took place, captioning the tweet:
“I went to where Dr king was killed at n I felt his presence ,I got chills on me no lie It’s sad how they know who killed him n can’t do nothing about it cause they the ones supposed to be protecting us”
