SZA Announces First Album In 6 Years: I Think It’s My Most Unisex Album, I Think It’s For Everyone

Alternative R&B artist SZA’s highly-anticipated sophomore album is on its way.

Six years after the critically acclaimed CTRL was released, SZA has finally wrapped up the sessions for her upcoming project. According to the songstress, it’s going to be “unisex.”

She announced:

“I just finished it up in Hawaii. And it’s coming soon! I think it’s my most unisex album. I think it’s for everyone.”

SZA was nominated for five Grammy awards this year. She won Best Pop Duo/Performance for “Kiss Me More” with rapper Doja Cat. As she accepted the award, she stood on a pair of crutches, which caused fans to speculate the cause of her injury.

Thankfully, the multi-platinum star explained what happened:

“I fell out of bed before I came here. Whenever something big happens to me, something crazy happens too.”

Her debut studio album CTRL was nominated for numerous Grammy titles, including Best Urban Contemporary Album in 2018. Although it didn’t win any awards, it performed well on the charts and in sales.
