Kelly Rowland Explains Now-Deleted ‘Come On My Face’ Tweet: That Statement Was Not That Tone
SongstressKelly Rowland is learning the importance of punctuation!
Last night (May 10) famed entertainer Kelly Rowland, 41, took to her Twitter to engage with her 6.9 million followers. While chatting with her fans online she asked,
“Good evening Beautiful People!!!!! Can you tell me your favorite thing about yourself?”
One Twitter user replied back to the Destiny’s Child group member and said,
“My Face.”
It appears that Kelly Rowland wanted to praise the fan for loving their own physical appearance and seemingly meant to respond, “Come on, my face! Like, my whole face! Catch it! I love it!”
However, the “Motivation” singer accidentally left off a few important punctuation marks, which made the statement way more sexual than she intended. In a now-deleted tweet, she wrote,
“Come on my face!! Like…My whole face! Catch It!! I love it!!!”
It didn’t take long for fans to let “The Seat Filler” actress know her statement was a little explicit.
She soon deleted the funny tweet and explained,
“I had to delete “that” tweet! I just saw what ya’ll were talking about! That statement was NOT that tone, and you all know it!! No one was kind enough to warn me!”
When a Twitter user reminded Kelly Rowland that she’s previously tweeted out sexual things before, she further explained that she meant her previous comments but her most recent remarks were seemingly a grammar mistake.
She added,
[I’m] usually am able to see stuff like that! Or somebody warns me!
