Megan Thee Stallion Reveals That Her Sophomore Studio Album Is ’95 Percent Done’
Is Megan Thee Stallion gearing up to give her fans another “Hot Girl Summer?”
Rap superstar Megan Thee Stallion, 27, is definitely having a winning season right now. The Grammy-Award-winning artist recently performed her newest single “Plan B” at the BBMAs and her outfit from this year’s Met Gala was a fan favorite. With Megan Thee Stallion seemingly being everywhere lately, supporters of the rapper have been wondering when she plans on dropping her next studio album.
Thankfully, it looks like Megan’s fans will be getting an answer to their question soon! During a recent red carpet interview, Megan Thee Stallion revealed that she’s almost done with her highly-anticipated album. She said,
“I’m probably like 95% done with my new album. I want to tease that for the hotties. I haven’t told them nothing about my album.”

Megan’s upcoming project will mark her first full-length release since she dropped last year’s compilation album “Something for Thee Hotties,” and will serve as the official follow-up to her 2020 debut album “Good News.” “Good News” was released on November 20, 2020, by 300 Entertainment and 1501 Certified. The hit album features guest appearances from DaBaby, City Girls, Lil Durk, SZA, Popcaan, Mustard, Big Sean, 2 Chainz, Young Thug, and Beyoncé. The album was met with widespread acclaim, with critics praising Megan’s raps and creative process. The album debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 after moving over 100,000 album-equivalent units in its first week.
In addition to “Plan B,” Megan also released the single “Sweetest Pie” that features Dua Lipa this year too. An official release date for Megan’s next studio album hasn’t been announced yet.

What are your thoughts on this entire situation? Who would you like to hear featured on Megan’s upcoming album?
