50 Cent, born Curtis Jackson, is the host and producer of the tentatively titled series “Cuate/twin: The Downfall of El Chapo,” which focuses on the twin brothers who helped take El Chapo down.

Pedro “Peter” Flores, Margarito “Jay” Flores
The show is said to be about famous drug informants, the Flores Twins, who ratted out one of the most powerful drug traffickers in the world, El Chapo, in exchange for lighter prison sentences. The description for the upcoming podcast series reads,
“Speaking publicly for the first time ever, Chicago-born identical twins Peter and Jay Flores will take listeners on a journey through their meteoric rise to becoming two of the biggest drug traffickers in America. Peddling tons of cocaine across the country, these two would go on to be seated at the right hand of the most wanted man in the world: El Chapo himself. In a stunning turn of events, the twins betray El Chapo in a desperate attempt to escape the only life they’ve ever known. But is escape ever really possible?”
On August 3, 50 Cent also confirmed his latest endeavor outside of music on his official Instagram page. The Queen’s native wrote,
“New Heat on the way If you liked Narco’s your going to be blown away by The Flores Twins. GLG GreenLightGang @bransoncognac @lecheminduroi.”

The series is set to launch on Lionsgate Sound, the company behind “John Wick,” “The Hunger Games,” and Starz. The studio will operate as a full-service podcast production company as Lionsgate’s brand new podcast division. The rap legend’s newly established G-Unit Audio company also produced the new series and will be exclusively distributed by the iHeartPodcast Network.
