Adrien Broner Wants To Fight Floyd Mayweather In A 10-Round Exhibition Boxing Match: Why Ain’t It Happened? [VIDEO]
Adrien Broner has called on recently retired boxing great Floyd Mayweather to step back into the ring and face him for a whopping 9-figure paycheck.
During a recent appearance on “Cigar Talk,” professional boxer Adrien Broner, 33, admitted that he’s open to an exhibition boxing match against former pro boxer Floyd Mayweather, 45. Welterweight champion Adrien Broner also revealed that if the roles were reversed between the pair, they would’ve already boxed in the ring and walked away with $100 million.

According to reports, Floyd Mayweather has made millions in a single payday, including $300+ million he said he made for the Conor McGregor fight. Now, Broner wants to know why Mayweather, whom he considers as his big brother, has yet to hit him up for a fight and pass down the wealth. The 4 weight class world champ shared,
“Me, as a real n*gg*, if I was Floyd and he was me, he wouldn’t ever have to fight again.”
Broner noted that he and Mayweather would earn $100+ million easily from the exhibition match. However, he stated that he’s unsure if his mentor wants to see him with that kind of cash, questioning why the fight hasn’t happened yet and deeming the fight as “so easy.” Broner said,
“Why ain’t it happened? This is so easy. This is a lay up. […] We can do an exhibition, 10 rounds, and the whole world is gonna watch it and we gonna get in there and go to work! Hug and go in the back and get a bag but at the end of the day, I don’t know what’s his feelings.”
Reportedly, Broner currently has a record of 34-4 and has held titles in four divisions. Mayweather, on the other hand, retired from boxing in 2017, but still competes in exhibition matches, which could open the doors for a possible exhibition with Broner.
