Herschel Walker’s Ex-Wife Shares The Physical Abuse He Allegedly Put Her Through In New Campaign Ad Against The Georgia Republican Senate Nominee: He Held The Gun To My Temple & Said He Was Going To Blow My Brains Out
Herschel Walker is a pro football player, Heisman Trophy winner, an Olympian, and contender for the Senate seat in Georgia, but who is he really?
A 30-second advertisement from the Republican Accountability PAC highlights Herschel Walker’s violent past, including the time he allegedly put a gun to the head of his ex-wife, Cindy DeAngelis Grossman. In a voiceover of Herschel Walker scoring a touchdown, a woman says,
“Do you think you know Herschel Walker? Well, think again. Listen to what his ex-wife had to say about him.”
It continues with Cindy DeAngelis Grossman sharing some of the alleged abuse she endured from the politician.
“His eyes would become very evil … The guns and knives … I got into a few choking things with him … The first time he held the gun to my head … he held the gun to my temple and said he was going to blow my brains out.”
A tweet from the Republican Accountability Project describes the man shown in the video as
“the real Herschel Walker.”

Grossman filed for divorce from Walker in 2001. She went back to court for a protective order in 2005 after Walker reportedly continuously threatened to kill her and her partner.
In a previous interview, Walker provided the following response when asked about his relationship with Cindy DeAngelis Grossman:
“I’m always accountable to whatever I’ve ever done. And that’s what I tell people: I’m accountable to it.”
He has also spoken extensively about his dissociative identity disorder (DID), originally known as multiple personality disorder, which ultimately caused their marriage to fail.
Walker and Grossman share one child together: Conservative internet personality Christian Walker, 22.
