LeBron James Thinks The NBA Is Letting Phoenix Suns Owner Robert Sarver Off Too Easy For His Use Of The ‘N-Word’: I Gotta Be Honest…Our League Definitely Got This Wrong
LeBron James is disappointed in the punishment Robert Sarver received following his misconduct and use of derogatory words.

On Wednesday (Sept. 14) Los Angeles Laker LeBron James took to Twitter to share his thoughts on Phoenix Suns owner Robert Sarver receiving a one-year suspension following his use of the ‘N-word’ on work premises. LeBron James wrote:
“Read through the Sarver stories a few times now. I gotta be honest…Our league definitely got this wrong. I don’t need to explain why. Y’all read the stories and decide for yourself. I said it before and I’m gonna say it again, there is no place in this league for that kind of behavior.

The 37-year-old shared:
“I love this league and I deeply respect our leadership. But this isn’t right. There is no place for misogyny, sexism, and racism in any work place. Don’t matter if you own the team or play for the team. We hold our league up as an example of our values and this aint it.”

According to reports, Phoenix Suns owner Robert Sarver was hit with a massive penalty following an investigation into alleged workplace misconduct. He was banned from the basketball league for one season and is mandated to pay a $10 million fine. Following the investigation, it was revealed that Sarver used the ‘N-word’ at least five times “when recounting the statement of others.”
The Ohio native isn’t the only one who feels like Robert Sarver isn’t receiving a fair punishment. As previously reported, City Girls rap star JT stated in a local news clip that Sarver deserves to face a bigger consequence. JT, 29 said:
“I think that he should be suspended forever.”
JT, born Jatavia Shakara Johnson, added:
“You don’t do that like and one year is like so short.”
