Roddy Ricch Says Border Patrol Wouldn’t Let Him Into Vancouver For Scheduled Performance: I’m Tired Of The Harassment

For anyone hoping to catch even a sighting of Roddy Ricch, don’t expect to see him in Canada.

The “High Fashion” rapper took to his Instagram Stories on Sunday (November 6) and apologized to his followers for not being able to get passed border patrol during a visit to Vancouver. He added that he had previously encountered this kind of behavior, claiming that he was “harassed” each time he approached the border.

According to Roddy Ricch,

“The Federal Border Patrol did not allow me into Vancouver, BC. I apologize to my fans. I don’t believe I’ll be revisiting Canada anytime soon because they’ve harassed me every time I’ve come and Imma be completely honest, I’m tired of the harassment.”

Roddy Ricch is out touring with Post Malone as part of his Twelve Carat Tour, which runs through November 15. While he obviously did not grace the stage on Sunday for the Vancouver show, the rappers will, once again, join forces in Los Angeles later this week.

Roddy claimed that Canadian rapper Drake assisted him in entering the country back in February 2020 after having a similar problem with border patrol. According to a tweet that was published at the time, he called Drake and,

 “and bro he got me into Canada.”
