Takeoff Celebration Of Life Reaches Full Capacity At State Farm Arena, No Arrests Has Been Made Yet In Rapper’s Death
This Friday (Nov. 11), a Celebration of Life service for Migos member Takeoff will be held in Atlanta, GA at the State Farm Arena.
The service is set to begin at 12 noon with doors opening up at 11 a.m. It will be overseen by Lilburn’s New Mercies Church and senior pastor Rev. Jesse Curney III.
According to the arena, tickets were made available at 2 p.m. on Tuesday (Nov. 8). By 12 noon on Wednesday (Nov. 9), the arena said tickets were sold out and that capacity for the event was reached. Those who bought a ticket must be Georgia residents, and they were free of charge. Organizers said you could only get two tickets.

According to 11 Alive,
“Organizers say if you don’t have a ticket, the event is at full capacity so they’re asking, don’t just come downtown….no gifts or other memorial items can be left at or near the venue.”
No photos or videos will be allowed during the service, and phones will be collected before guests can enter the building.
According to recent reports, Justin Bieber will be taking the stage during the memorial. Although the singer doesn’t have any solo songs with Takeoff, he’s collaborated with the Migos on tracks such as “What You See” and “Looking for You,” along with other songs with Quavo. Justin Beiber and any other performance taking place during the memorial is considered to be top secret.

Takeoff, Justin Bieber
As previously reported, Takeoff, one-third of the Migos hip-hop group, was fatally shot at a bowling alley in Houston, Texas on Tuesday (Nov.1). Video footage before the shooting shows Quavo and Takeoff among other men arguing over who would be successful in a basketball match. While listening to the audio you can hear Takeoff’s uncle, Quavo, getting frustrated over the conversation. A few seconds before shots were let off, Quavo said:
“Aye let’s go bruh. I ain’t finna do this sh*t – I’m finna hurt somebody bruh.”

At this time, no arrests in connection to Takeoff’s death have been made.
Our thoughts and prayers continue to go out to the family and loved ones of Takeoff.
