Colin Kaepernick To Executive Produce True-Crime Docuseries ‘Killing County’ For Hulu From ABC News Studios
It looks like Colin Kaepernick is taking his talents to the small screen!

“Killing County” takes a look at Bakersfield, a big city with the soul of a small town deep in California’s heartland, where things are not always what they seem.
A description of the series reads:
“A deadly hotel shooting makes the Ramirez family question everything they know about their town. Desperate to find out what really happened to their loved one, they soon learn they are not alone in their tragedy and fight for the truth. The three-part series is a story of twists and turns, alleged corruption and cover-up. Raising the question: who do you turn to when the ones who are supposed to serve and protect you are the ones you can’t trust?”
“Killing County” is produced by ABC News Studios in association with Kaepernick Media. ABC News Studios’ Robe Imbriano and Kaepernick Media’s Colin Kaepernick are executive producers. Actor André Holland narrates the series.
The series is set to premiere on January 26.
From the looks of it, this isn’t the only tv project Colin Kaepernick is working on.
theJasmineBRAND previously reported that Kaepernick and Spike Lee are working closely together on a documentary about the former professional athlete.

The untitled project will be a multi-episode series as part of The Walt Disney Company’s overall first-look deal with Colin Kaepernick’s production arm Ra Vision Media. It will tell the athlete’s story from his own point of view. It will consist of in-depth interviews and a sizable, never-before-seen archive.
Kaepernick, a free-agent quarterback, and civil rights activist, spent six seasons with the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League before opting out of his contract in 2017. The move came after he was informed he was going to be released, a decision that’s been widely reported to be sparked by his decision to kneel for the National Anthem at games.
Kaepernick previously said,
“I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color. To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder.”
